MORNINGSTAR MUSIC CLUB
- モーニング スターは、ムーンフラワーの異端児ギタリスト、ジェシー D. ヴァーノンのソロ プロジェクトとして 1997 年に始まりました。 ジョン・パリッシュがプロデュースした『My Place In The Dust』（Microbe、2001年）を含む2枚のアルバムをレコーディングした後、ジェシーは2005年にパリに移り、そこでさらに2枚のレコードをプロデュースし、『This is The Kit』と活動しました。
- 2011年に彼はコミュニティベースのプロジェクト「ファンタジーオーケストラ」を立ち上げました。 2022年、ジェシーは友人のフィリップ（ホセ）シロップ、ヨハフ・オレミアツキ、アビー・ツィプ、リサ・ワイスリンガーと力を合わせ、バンド「モーニング スター ミュージック クラブ」の新たな章をスタートさせました。 バンドは、サウスランド・ミッショナリー・シンガーズ、レナード・コーエン、レディオヘッド、VU、ビヨンセなど、多様なアーティストから影響を受けています。楽曲は、息を呑むようなボーカルハーモニー、ファンキーなベースライン、優雅なアレンジ、そしてジェシーの比類なきギターワークで輝きを放ちます。パフォーマンスには、即興のカメオ出演や観客の参加が頻繁に見られます。 バンドはフランス、ベルギー、イギリスをツアーで回った。2023年10月にはジョン・パリッシュがミックスを担当したアルバムをレコーディングし、2025年初頭にリリース予定。その後すぐにツアーに出る予定だ。 Morning Star began in 1997 as the solo project of Moonflower maverick guitarist, Jesse D. Vernon. After recording 2 albums, including My Place In The Dust (Microbe, 2001) produced by John Parish, Jesse moved to Paris in 2005 where he produced two more records and worked with This is The Kit. In 2011 he started the community based project - The Fantasy Orchestra. In 2022 Jesse joined forces with friends Philippe (José) Sirop, Yohav Oremiatzki, Abby Tsype and Lisa Weisslinger to start a new chapter of the band: Morning Star Music Club. The band's list of influences includes such diverse artists as the Southland Missionary Singers, Leonard Cohen, Radiohead, VU, and Beyoncé. The tunes sparkle with stunning vocal harmonies, funky basslines, elegant arrangements and Jesse's inimitable guitar work. Performances often feature spontaneous cameos and audience participation. The band has toured France, Belgium and the UK. In October 2023 they recorded an album, mixed by John Parish, which is due for release in early 2025. They will go on tour shortly after.
